View Issues6.5.0.196 Ham Radio Deluxe In this release of Ham Radio Deluxe, there are 97 individual updates to the software (plus 4 duplicates). By application, there are 26 in Logbook, 33 in Rig Control, 23 in Rotator, 13 in Satellite Tracking, and 7 in other areas (DM-780, setup, etc). Ham Radio Deluxe enables you to connect to the radio device via cable and control it from your computer. The entire setup process takes you just a couple of minutes, time needed to choose the manufacturing company, radio model, COM port and speed.
Just use the standard ALE window - not contest mode for contests where there report is signal + serial no. The RST sent will auto increment. Also you can see the worked column and check the date to see if you have worked before also this becomes useful if you just hear the locator, fill in that.

And click the W button to show if you have worked, and get an idea of the station's callsign. HRD is not designed to be contest software. Best to use something else for contests, then import contacts afterwards for awards tracking etc.
