Kali linux is of course one of the best pentesting platforms available now but it's native web browser Iceweasel a modified firefox lacks in flash and java. Keeping java aside lets just talk about flash.If you are here to know how to install flash on kali then you are at the right place.Here we go.
Step 1: Downloading Flash for Kali Linux First of all go to this site and download tar.gz for other linux.
Once the repository has been added, update apt index then proceed to install Adobe Flash Player on Ubuntu 18.04. Sudo apt update sudo apt -y upgrade Step 2: Install Adobe Flash Plugin on Ubuntu 18.04. Now we can install Adobe Flash Player on Ubuntu 18.04 Desktop so that we can stream audio and Video content without issues on most websites. And click on the Accept and Install option and Save on the Desktop. Now Open the Terminal and enter the following command. Root@lhackg:/Downloads# ls root@lhackg:/Downloads# dpkg -i google-chrome-stablecurrentamd64.deb it will install Google-chrome.
Now Add it in Main Menu. Go to Applications System Tools Preferences Main Menu, click on the new Item and enter the Name and command and click on OK. Now open the Google Chrome from the Main Menu, it will show you message ” Google Chrome can not be run as root “. Now you are able to open Chrome in Linux. Nothing to worry about it. Open your File System User then open the bin folder and serach for Google chrome and open with gedit text editor. If you like command line, you can open with gedit /usr/bin google-chrome and enter the –user-data-dir at the end of line and save it.
