With the Torah as the foundation of its philosophy, the school was founded when the Hebrew Institute of Long Island merged with the Hillel School. HAFTR incorporates academic excellence with an assortment of extra-curricular activities. This office is the location of HAFTR's administrative offices. There are four schools under the HAFTR umbrella, including the Early Childhood Center, Lower School, Middle School and High School as well as Hillel Day Camp.
Each school focuses on developing students academically, emotionally, intellectually, spiritually and socially. The classrooms provide a comfortable learning environment and students are challenged in both general and Judaic studies. Reuben Maron is the executive director of the schools. All Nevada teens under the age of 18 must complete 30 hours of driver’s education through a licensed driving school before they can obtain a Nevada driver’s license. NV Drivers Ed is fully licensed by the Nevada DMV (#PRDS00044370) to provide an online drivers ed course that can be taken online via desktop computer, laptop computer, tablet.
